We are so excited to have Highlands Oncology Group join us as our Presenting Sponsor for the Charity Swim. This event gives our swimmers the choice of doing multiple miles individually or with a team to participate as a relay (1 mile at a time). Swimming for a cause is an excellent way to experience Beaver Lake. Participants can choose from one of three (or all three) charities that we have partnered with. 45% of all registration fees will go directly to our philanthropic partners listed below.

          The Rampy MS Research Foundation's mission is to advance MS research. They bring encouragement to the MS community and beyond.  Their beneficiaries are UAMS, Northwestern University and University of California at San Francisco.

          The Swim Across America's mission is to fund cancer research, clinical trials, and patient programs through charity swims.
     The Joys Of Swimming
          The Joys Of Swimming's mission is to provide water safety education to save lives and develop lifelong swimmers.

Wave organization details:
8:00 AM – Youth Wave
Ages 13 - 18: winners for top 3 male and female awarded, Youth Club Team awards (must be a registered USA Club) are dictated by this wave.
8:45 AM – Elite Wave
13 & over: Must have a swim time of 30 minutes or under to participate. Times will count towards the Adult Club Team awards (must be a registered USMS Club).
9:30 AM – Age Group Wave
13 & over: winners for the following age brackets for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd male and female. Times will count towards the Adult Club Team awards.
Age Group awards are as follows:
13-15, 16-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and over
10:15 AM - Para Wave
13 & over: For this wave, we will make every attempt to accommodate all athletes with disabilities. It is up to you to reach out to our race director to notify us of any assistance and accommodations needed so that we can provide you with the best experience possible.
10:30 AM – OZ Wave
There are no awards for this race.
8 – 12 year old participants must wear a safety buoy and have a partner that is 16 or older with them the entirety of the swim. They can wear fins during the race.
ALL Swimmers: Anything goes… wetsuit, fins, paddles, safety buoy, lifejacket, snorkel, kickboard, any or all. Must be able to complete the mile in 75 minutes or less.

Just come swim the mile!

11:45 AM - All Awards

The Youth Team award is dictated by times in the Youth Wave. Masters Team award is dictated by overall times in either the Elite or the Age Group Waves. Teams must have 10 swimmers or more to participate in the Team Awards.
